Basic Training Evaluation Software

default-16x9

Does anyone know of some inexpensive software that I can use to do basic evaluation after training (similar to happy sheet).

I want to ask about ten questions, some multiple choice and some free text fields.

The only software I've found on the Internet so far is either free but restricted to five questions or massively completed and does far more than I need.

I'm sure someone out there in the world of training already uses something applicable so I'd be really grateful for any information.

Many thanks.

  1. Software

You can compile a basic questionnaire in Word by using the forms toolkit. you can use this as a blank for all your courses filling in things like course details and dates then protect the document so the delegates can only fill in the boxes you want tham to. Save the modified file under a new name.

I use this system and then use Excel to compile the answers.

For 10 delegates I think a database may be a bit of a luxury.

    Best wishes

  2. More info ….
Thank you Mike for pointing out some (now) obvious omissions to my posting!

Ideally, I would like the software to compile and log the answers but because I am dealing with a small number of trainees (maybe 5-10 per week) it is not a problem to do this manually in some way.

I want to send the form ideally in an e-mail (Outlook) if not embedded in the e-mail, as an attachment.

    Any recommendations would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

  3. Survey Monkey is an option
    Hi,

One tool I use is Survey Monkey (www.surveymonkey.com).

It is not a specific training evaluation programme. But an online generic survey tool. For limited questions per survey/happy sheet (10 max), and basic compilation of information, you can use the tool for free.
If you want more detailed surveys or analysis, you have to pay a fee. Try it, and you may see some other uses for it – basic 360, TNAs etc.

    Regards,

    Chris

  4. SurveyMonkey – great tool
I use SurveyMonkey – have used it for training feedback and an employee survey.

You can send out a link in an email for participants to click on and enter their feedback.

The best thing is that it collates the feedback so you can print off or download reports. It is also possible to filter the results. Great for identifying trends etc.
