default-16x9

Books24x7, which recently signed an agreement to be acquired by SkillSoft Corporation today announced the nominations of its first annual Referenceware(TM)
Excellence Awards, co-sponsored by Waterside Productions, Inc., of Cardiff, CA. The awards will recognize the most widely used computer technology and business books available through Books24x7, which offers subscription clients online searches to more than 1,700 unabridged IT and business books. Winners will be announced at the 12th Annual Waterside Publishing Conference,January 31 - February 2, 2002, in San Diego.

For each major category of IT-related content, five book titles were selected based on actual usage of Books24x7 subscribers from January 1 through November 30, 2001. Judges, selected from the Books24x7 editorial advisory board, will choose each category winner after considering a variety of qualitative data, including content organization, depth and quality of subject matter coverage, and graphics.
