Ufi today announced that BT is to give its employees online access to Ufi's learning materials. Ufi's learndirect products and services will be available to staff alongside BT's own training materials as part of the BT Academy. This new partnership means that BT becomes the first major company to announce its decision to use and network Ufi learning materials across its entire organisation.

The learndirect materials will be available online to BT employees from the autumn of this year, when Ufi goes into full national operation. At that point, staff will have access to a range of top quality online learning materials to include business management, customer care, retail and distribution skills, basic skills, and IT skills.

Staff will be able to learn at their desk using 'bite-sized chunks' of material. They will do so in a fully integrated computer-based learning environment that brings together registration, interactive materials and on-line support.
