Cambridge Building Society chooses Seminar for new health and safety training programme

default-16x9

Cambridge Building Society, who recently won the Cambridge Evening News Award for Business Training, have just chosen Seminar® as the best and most practical CBT authoring system for their radical new Health and Safety training programme.

The Seminar® multimedia authoring system has been developed by Cambridge-based consultancy Information Transfer. The company specialises in the communication of complex information and in strategic consultancy. Seminar was designed to help Information Transfer's clients implement computer-based training without having to be programming experts, or spend a fortune on IT training.

This is Cambridge Building Society's first on-screen training programme; up till now, most training at the building society has been delivered face to face, which may be difficult to arrange. With the emphasis on putting as much resource as possible into a high standard of customer care, time management is crucial. The advantage of using Seminar is that staff can complete the programmes at their own pace and at a time that suits them.

Joanne Hogg, of Cambridge Building Society, explained their choice: "Seminar is extremely user friendly. We have enjoyed putting the programmes together and our staff have found them fun to complete."

Information Transfer, who have just won a Commendation for Writing Excellence in the Communiqué 2000 Awards, are delighted that Seminar has been such a success.

"Although our larger clients are currently using the system, including Abbey National, American Express and Kellogg's, it is great to work with a dynamic local company like Cambridge Building Society - and their offices are only two doors away!"
Seminar - "probably the most user-friendly presentation system I have seen."
