Information Transfer, the Cambridge-based communications and training consultancy, has earned a Commendation for Writing Excellence in the Communiqué 2000 Awards for PR and Medical Education. These are recognised as the premier awards acknowledging achievement by companies servicing the pharmaceutical industry.
The awards ceremony, held at the Park Lane Hilton and sponsored by Pharmaceutical Marketing magazine, attracted over 300 entries of high standard in 20 different categories.
Information Transfer entered a training programme that they developed for Yamanouchi, an international pharmaceutical company with its European headquarters in Leiderdorp, Holland. The programme was designed to inform and motivate staff throughout Europe, who are promoting the use of a novel interferon drug in a technically complex therapeutic area.
Dr Rachel Meller, the partner at Information Transfer responsible for the project, commented, “Naturally, we were delighted with our commendation. But we were even more pleased by the comments of the Yamanouchi sales force, the ultimate users of our programme. They voted it the most effective training material that they had ever received.”
