Does anyone have any information about the proposed Graduate
Apprenticeship schemes? There is some information about it on the DfEE website about pilot schemes, but I have been unable to get any further details from the Department.

Try QCA and the relevant NTO
The Government Body working on / running this development is the Qualifications Curriculum Authority (QCA, http://www.qca.org.uk, Tel: 0207 509 5555). All GradApps are a mixture of Key Skills Units and sector-specific NVQ Units, so ringing QCA and asking for the Principal Officer for either Management or Chemistry (I think) NVQs should help (there are other subjects I can’t remember) Also try the relevant National Training Organisation (NTO), who are responsible for their sector’s NVQs. For Management, call Jane Capaldi at METO (0207 872 9000). The University of Greenwich Business School is running the pilot project GradApp in Management. Alternatively, e-mail me, as the Institute of Management is involved as well.

Pilots running now – will go national
