Chicken Soup for the Email Soul !!

A local business is launching an email newsletter featuring positive stories about their voluntary sector, including charity achievements. They're considering using Outlook's distribution list function and seek advice on the best approach and implementation tips.

I am planning to develop a email newsletter for local business contacts with regular good news stories about our local voluntary sector. “Charity finds homes for 1000th stray cat” for example. An email version of “chicken soup for the soul” one might say. In return we hope to highlight the work of the voluntary sector and from time to time request help.

We plan to run it using the distribution list function in Outlook. Is this the best way? Can anyone give us a few tips or pointers?

many thanks
