I am new to the field of H&S, but have discovered loads of information about general H&S issues (risk assessment etc), but can't find anything specific to the classroom or training venue. I want to apply a generic set of questions/consider a generic set of 'headings' for both trainng venues (in all their many guises) and more traditional classrooms (I don't really have to consider the issue with regard outdoor activities).
Any ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Health & Safety Executive leaflets should help

The only things I’ve found specifically for training is a booklet called “BE Safe” about h&safety in training (can get this from local Chamber of Commerce or H&Safety Executive). Also H&S Executive publish lots of booklets/leaflets (many of them free)about H&S topics, including: Ergonomics at Work, Working with VDU’s, which may be worth looking at. They can be contacted through HSE Books on 01787-881165 or fax 01787-313995 to find out what titles are available.
