CLASSROOM VS eLEARNING

default-16x9

Do you have any statistics that would relate to a time-line ratio of development to delivery of classroom training vs online training?

I work for a very large air freight corporation in Memphis, TN and have been asked to research this.

I would greatly appreciate any info you might be able to provide or perhaps point me in the right direction. Thanks!

  1. CLASSROOM VS eLEARNING
    Hi Marilyn,

The benchmark I use is generally 10 hours development, for one hour of traditional classroom training. I have been quoted 120 hours development time for one hour of software development for CBT systems. As for e learning, perhaps you could check out:

Their site may be able to assist you.

  3. eLEARNING development
In our experience e-learning material takes four to five times as long to design initially, but once designed it is then far easier to develop large amounts of material and (obviously) to update the material.
