Codes of Conduct

default-16x9

I need to put together a codes of conduct policy/manual for the company I work for and am looking for advice on what to include. If anyone is happy to send me a copy of theirs or guidelines I would be very grateful. I am particularly interested in issues around personal conduct. Namely actions which may bring the companies name into disrupte i.e. drink driving outside of work hours ( not sure if I can put anything about this if it happened outside of work hours and the person is not expected to drive as part of their job but if anyone has such a clause in either their contract or codes of conduct I would like to hear about it)

  1. ideas on conduct on the workfloor
    Dear Melanie,
    What immediately came into my mind was an issue that we had to deal with in my company;
    1.What and what not to say to all kinds of customers is important to put on paper.
    2. Nettiquettes are important.
    3. If employees use a logging system in which they write down what they have done that day or for that customer there should also be codes on this available.

    Unfortunately it would be of no use to send you our codes because they are all in Dutch.. 🙂
    Good luck with your quest..Greetings from Holland, Kolet van der Wielen

  2. An example
    I do have a code of conduct that I can e-mail you. It does not cover out of work behaviour as this would be outside the remit of our Disciplinary policy (the only exception might be something criminal that directly impinged on the job role). jenny.kevan@compair.com
