Competency Based Interviews

default-16x9

I have been asked to carry out Competency based inteviews this Thursday 20 January. I have carried some interenet research on this but would really like to have some guidance from someone who has lots of experience of conducting cbi's. What are the : do's & don'ts, scoring sheets -whats good practice and whats bad practice? Would anyone like to share/discuss their experiences.

Many thanks in advance

  1. Interviews
    Kirsty,

I am assuming you already have the competencies and both positive and negative behavioural indicators.

This is a complex subject, happy to discuss on phone. Available on 07973 862685.

My view is that if you do not already havea framework and questions then do not do it. Doing it badly sounds worse than interviewing the traditional way. You have to be comfortable with it.
