Does anyone have any descriptors for a competency based around cultural diversity? Including negative descriptors.

  1. Try the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework (NHS KSF)
The Department of Health has done a lot of work on this.

    See http://www.dh.gov.uk/assetRoot/04/10/79/84/04107984.pdf

The descriptors are called indicators. For example: identifies and highlights methods and processes to resolve complaints as a consequence of unfair and discriminatory
practice. A negative descriptor could be as follows: does not identify and/or highlight methods and processes to resolve complaints as a consequence of unfair and discriminatory
    practice.

  2. Not a competency
A competency is something that one can be incrementally better at. Cultural Diversity is a standard and not a competency, it also neglects the broader issue and focuses on culture rather than other diversities issues including, religion, age, disability, gender, sexuality etc.
