My name is Darren and i'm a site engineer currently studying for a foundation degree in Construction College at South Cheshire College in Crewe as part ot my second year I have to carry out a research project, my project is based around the type of investment in training construction companies make and what type of training is offered by construction companies?

Would anyone be able to give me some pointers as to where I may find out information regarding how much money is invested in by construction companies per year and what ype of training is offered? Do companies offer a generic type of training or is it determined by the individuals needs? Also does anyone know of any research carried out relating to what training is offered in terms of ensuring employees have the correct skills for their job role and ensuring the skills shortwge is reduced.

Finally would anyone be prepared to complete a questionnaire or possibly be interviewed regarding this research project?

If anyone is able to offer any assistance or direction regarding this your help would be greatly appreciated and I would of course forward a copy of my research if desired.
