coping with change

default-16x9

I have to give a presentation (10 to 15 minutes) as part of a town hall event on managing change - next week. The organisation is going through significant change I have been asked to talk briefly about how employees experience - psychologically and emotionally - significant change. This is a precursor to some work that we will be doing with managers and employees, helping them to participate in and engage with the changes, through understanding their own reactions to change.

At this stage, I'm looking for some engaging material (ideally PowerPoint slides!) On organisational change and peoples emotional reactions.

Many thanks

I have a couple of PPT presentations on managing change, one of which has a slide showing a seven-stage transition curve, starting with immobilisation and finishing with integration, similar to the loss/grief model.

The other has a slide showing classic ‘change types’ – missionaries, believers, people who pay lip service, hiders and refugees, members of the underground resistance, honest opponents and emigrants – based on a model developed by Binney and Williams in the early 1990s. This may not be appropriate at this stage!
