Corporate Dress

default-16x9

Has anyone out there surveyed staff re. their thoughts on adopting a corporate uniform?
We are looking to introduce a uniform for reception and front of house staff, and would like to involve staff as much as possible to ensure their 'buy-in' to the new look.
I plan to organise a focus group to discuss the pros/cons of wearing a uniform, however before this event I would like to send out a questionnaire to collect as much information as possible to help me facilitate the process.
Any information gratefully received!

Many thanks

  1. Has the decision been made?
    Hi Lindsay,

When you say ‘looking to introduce a uniform’, does this mean that a decision has been made to do this?

If the decision has not been made and the results of your proposed work could influence the decision then your proposal looks great – though I’m not sure why you would want to pre-emp the outcome.

If the decision has already been made your current proposed approach could lead to major resistance. What if there are far more cons than pros? If a decision has already been made it would be far better to announce the decision and focus your work on involving the staff in what the uniform should look like.

    I speak from bitter experience!
