Course curriculum management

I have a customer who requires a series of documents related to a course I am writing for him. Does anyone know of a software package that can data-link objectives and sub-objectives between documents easily (so I don't have to spend eons proofreading changes to the structure). Thanks.

    Harry,

    Microsoft access can link objectives and sub objectives; in fact anything you wish, because it is a relational database.
