DDA and Access Audits

default-16x9

My concerns are the number of questions and responses that appear to "tag on" issues around disability (with exceptions of course) instead of looking at the richness and experience a diverse workforce can bring. I have trained as an Access Auditor, and am awaiting accreditation at NVQ L4 and already have an honours degree. The commitment with which the subject was delivered and the rigour with which access audits should be carried out would allow any company to identify their needs and to move forward with addressing issues around DDA compliance and improving their service - this does NOT mean just the physical environment but the way a service is delivered and numerous other considerations. Any company that has had an access audit of this quaility and standard will be developing their staff, their service delivery and their success in whatever market they are in. DDA compliance means nothing more than better quality for EVERYONE. Many people who attended the course were CIPD accredited and experts in their own field and could not belive what they didn't know!?
