Direct Costs of Equality and Diversity Initatives

Our external trainer does wonderful and tangible cost benefit analysis exercises on the cost of NOT addressing equality and diversity issues,in the workplace and with customers

But one of our directors has asked for the actual direct UK costs of undertaking all the e and d initiatives,eg training,flexible working etc,etc. Is there s source that could provide the global figure of what she cynically calls the equality industry. I have stacks of figures from the other cost benefit analysis side but nothing from opposite direction. I also have quantified the brown,pink pound and spending power of over 50's but still need the vacumn filling

    Eq & Diversity Direct Costs:
    I wonder of someone could be kind enough to let me have the figures that relate to Direct Costs of NOT tackling Eq & Diversity issues.
    The costs of running such programmes are based I guess on the trainers fees (£400-600/day) or per delegate (£50-£125), plus hotel/food/travel costs and of course the time away from work for delegates-typically one day.
