E-learning package which one to buy?

default-16x9

Hi Guys, I am looking for an e-learning programme to buy for myself and two other trainers in my organisation. We aim to use this for delivering e-learning of systems training and upgrades of systems and maybe some theory. I attended two day training courses last year with Lectora and have used their software but have since moved to another part of the business. I have been looking at TurboDemo with Balesio Screen capture but am interested to know what other trainers are using out there I will need to be able to publish the files in a Flash or Java format so that our intranet can run the files correctly Any help greatly appreciated Thanks Helen

  1. Anyone?
I note 165 people have read my question now but not one person is able to tell me if they are using an e-learning package and if so, which one.

Is this due to people not wanting to disclose the information or are most people out there not using e-learning or developing e-learning courses????

    Hi

I have been using a number of products such as, Adobe Captivate, Toolbook and STT to capture screens.  I prefer Captivate as it is part of the Adobe family so I can easily merge Flash, photosop etc.  Toolbook is very useful for creating interactive games and animation.

    hope this helps

    Steve.

    Hi Helen!

I’ve used Captivate before which is one of most popular packages out there.

A similarly popular product is Camtasia.

I’d also suggest you take a look at a lesser-known product, SCATE Ignite, which is very similar and very keenly priced!
