e-learning software

default-16x9

Does anyone have any suggestions of programs I could use to create e-learning modules. I am looking for a program that is not too "techy", so that any member of the training staff could update the content. So far have looked at Lobster from the IITT.

Thanks

    Hi Lesley

Depends on what you are trying to achieve and at what level.

At a low level, Macromedia have a great new product out called Captivate which not only allows you to storyboard e learning modules in a similar way to putting a PowerPoint show together with questionnaires etc but also allows you to capture applications running on your PC if you are doing IT training.

You can download a 30 day trial.

    Highly recommend it.

  2. Jigsaw
    Hi Lesley,
we have an inhouse development tool called Jigsaw which creates Flash-based elearning modules using a very simple icon-based interface. It’s been designed specifically to put the power of Flash into the hands of non-techy elearning designers. We licence it out to selected partners so if you’re interested, please drop me a line or check out our website: http://www.nlightn.co.uk and look under Products.
