online testing is available (though im not sure if you can sit the test without studying through that centre) the link below should help

You have to attend a centre
You have to go to a registered testing centre to take the exams so that you don’t cheat.

It has to be taken under exam conditions – so the answer is no – sorry

ECDL must be taken under exam conditions at the present time – however technology is being looked into for home based examininations
