I am developing a new course for subject matter experts who will be taking on the role of mentors. Does anyone know of a workbook I could use to deliver a session on emotional intelligence other than the HaysGroup ECI-U books? Nothing wrong with them, just wondered what else is out there. I know I am answering my own question but I just got a copy of a new Coaching questionnaire produced by Hays Group.
It works nicely with Strengthen Your Strengths by Peter Honey Publications so if anyone else is prodcing such a course I would definetely recommend these products.
Fits my needs perfectly!
Book to supplement?
Glad you got sorted. There’s a nice book I have on my site (commercial interest declared) about EI – http://www.completetrainer.co.uk/Self_Development_Materials/Me_plus_You_Emotional_Intelligence – I like the style and it’s got stuff in it you could easily adapt and use to help with training.

Emotional Intelligence Training Materials
You can use the Emotional Intelligence Training Materials or parts of it in your course depending on whether you want to focus on personal or inter-personal skills. It contains workbooks as well as slides and trainer notes, exercises, etc.
