HMP Peterborough is a newly opened prison which caters for Men and Women from the East of England. We are currently trying to establish innovative ways of providing work and vocational training opportunites for prisoners in partnership with community organisations and businesses.
Can anyone assist us with examples of good practice for joining up prisons, communities and employers….or if you could use one of our prisoner workshops, would be happy to employ ex offenders or enter a partnership with us we would love to hear from you.

What an inspiring and innovative approach. I cannot help but I do know of a couple of trainers and one training freelancer who has let ex prisoners shadow and even co tutor his courses.E mail me on jennifertopping@amserve.com which will give me time to dig out the information from the archives
