European Training Fund (? Socrates)

default-16x9

I have been told that the above fund is available for colleges to gain a refund of 50% on courses for retaining long term contact staff. I need to know anything about the fund I think it is called Socrates or Leonardo Fund.

  1. Socrates can help with training costs – up to 50%
The action you would most likely apply to under Socrates is called Comenius, which covers initial and inservice training of staff directly involved in the school education sector. Claims cannot be made retrospectively. There is a call for proposals out at the moment, closing date is 1st November, so you will have to hurry.
