Evaluating or Assessing Current Levels of Communication Skills

default-16x9

We would wish to use this evaluation tool widely within the organisation and use the outcome to tailor training to bring managers (and other staff) to an acceptable minimum.
The evaluation package should be able to provide a printout of development needs and hopefully a database facility to record the scores for later assessment.

  1. Let your people tell you
    Hi Julian

A great way to understand how effectively your employees communicate is to ask the people that they communicate with. Those individuals will have a really useful, informed view that goes beyond theory into the real effects of each individual’s communication behaviour.

360o assessment is a highly effective way of assessing this. By carefully describing the required communication behaviours you can invite specific, objective feedback from different stakeholder groups. This can be powerful in uncovering ‘blindspots’, particularly where individuals are perceived differently at different levels of the organisation.

We use an online 360o tool that enables fast, confidential data gathering and storage, and produces reports that can be viewed online or printed out.

The 360o approach not only allows individuals to understand the impact of their communication styles and plan their learning, it also allows the organisation to look at aggregated data across all participants, building up a picture of areas that may be more effectively tackled by other interventions.

If you’d like to talk through this please e mail or call.

  2. Communication Skills assessment tool

I need to incorporate an assessment tool for communication skills training. Can some one guide me where to find the appropriate tool?
