  1. great books
John Heron – Dimensions of facilitator style.
John Heron – six category intervention analysis – might be out of print published as a pamphlet while he was teaching at the University of Surrey
The Zen of Groups by Hunter, Bailey and Taylor – they have also written one called the facilitation of groups.

    Hope this helps

  2. Facilitation skills
    Dear Mark

If you find that you need more than a book, try Progressive Management Solutions Ltd. (PMSL) who offer some excellent facilitation skills courses for all levels. Tel: 020 8871 5063

  3. Facilitation Skills
Why not try “Facilitation Skills” by Frances and Roland Bee published by IPD in 1998 ISBN 0-85292-733-9.

  4. Books on Facilitation
For two books that give useful, TANGIBLE, and inspiring help try:

Facilitation, by Trevor Bentley (McGraw-Hill) – amusing, little theory. The story of a workshop with all the normal resistance and challenge a good facilitator would get!

Unfinished Business (Gower). An absolute must with excellent summaries of TA and Gestalt, and very specific behavioural cues.
