Financial Services Training ‘Myths’

default-16x9

The financial services industry is living with myths about the link between training and business performance, according to Sara Powell Accreditation Manager for the Financial Services Skills Council.

Powell will tell delegates at an event next month that these myths are preventing firms getting a satisfactory return on their training investment.

At the event Knowledge Transfer - Making Training Pay Powell will look at five assumptions about training that get in the way of using it to create a better business.

Attendees will also get the chance to find out more about the FSSC Accreditation of Training Excellence, which is a new accreditation award for financial services sector firms and learning providers that can demonstrate their investment in training produces a desired business outcome.

The event takes place on 15 June as part of an open day at The Training Foundation in Coventry and attendance is free.
