Focus Groups/Interviews focusing on barriers to female career development

default-16x9

Hi,we're conducting an internal research focusing on barriers (perceived/real) to females career development.

The first step is to interview top management and "Female" Top management.

Second step is to conduct some focus groups with middle management.

Any hint on interviews and foucus group structure?
THX!

A focus group I delivered for similar research to Nat West Bank came out with highly interesting findings. I started with ice breakers, small groups and reconvened to pull all the threads together. I worked with 7-10 fast-track junior managers (mixed gender); explored issues & concerns; focused on their expectations, management expectations and discrepancies between both. I also developed a questionnaire with EDS for survey participants to complete and used as the basis of semi-structured interviews I have published research and delivered papers on this area for Sheppard Moscow, British Psychological Society and Industrial Society.

Hope this is of some help and contact me if you would like anything more substantive.
