Free Books Anyone?

default-16x9

http://bookboon.com/uk

I was rather sceptical about this when I first heard about as I couldn’t believe it was true, however BookBoon offers books in a variety of management and HRM subjects (and a host of others) which are available as free downloadable PDFs. There’s no catch, no fee and no signfcaint further contact.

The quality of the materials based on three books I have downloaded is as good and as bad as what you’d find in your local Waterstones. Have a look. If you’re developing materials for training or simply trying to extend your own knowledge it’s a no brainer to check out what’s available here.

It’s also a great resource for clients to offer as a source of materials for follow up reading.

  1. Thanks Garry

Only question – have you received much email contact following the downloads?

That site looks great for simple linking.

  2. BookBoon

Some great info on the website, quick downloads .. really valuable.  Thanks for sharing this!

  3. Junk mail

If you ever panic about getting junk mail, just use something like ten minute email – this gives you a temporary email address that you can enter

    http://10minutemail.com/10MinuteMail/index.html

The clever thing about it is that it stays active for ten mintues (you can refresh this manually if you need longer), so if the website you’re registering on requires a confirmation code you can fetch it from the webpage, enter it then forget about it.
