An e-learning provider is offering free courses available to help employees tackle bullying, harassment and aggression at work.

MD of Skillsoft Kevin Young said the move was in response to surveys suggesting a rise in the level of bullying at work.

"The issue of bullying at work is a serious matter and the extent of harassment in the workplace appears to be widespread." he said. "Even worse, new research emerges constantly which suggests that the problem is escalating. This situation has to be addressed, not only to help employees who are at the receiving end of such destructive behaviour, but for the sake of UK productivity, which is adversely affected as a result."

The three courses - Harrassment at Work, Working with Aggressive People and Difficult People in the Workplace can be accessed at www.skillsoft.com/bullying. They are available free of charge until the end of July 2006.
