Fun Selling Up Exercises

default-16x9

I work for the hospitiality sector and going to be rolling out some selling up training to employees. The employees are active in their roles and are not use to sitting down all day on a course. Has anyone got any good, fun or active exercises that I coud use to get them moving around and challenging for them.

Thanks

  1. If You Cannot Find – Adapt Other Exercises
To be honest I don’t know what “Selling Up” means, however The Training Shop is an excellent organisation for providing fun ideas, including a VERY REASONABLY PRICED range of materials you can buy from them, from Toys, Pens, Games, ready-made exercises and training courses for trainers.(www.thetrainingshop.co.uk)

They would encouarage you to take some of their generic exercises and adapt them to your subject, or use them for some of the general skills you may be training in (change management, coaching skills, communication). NO I DO NOT WORK FOR THEM but have had a valuable experience in finding them after 20 years in desiging and delivering training they are a breath of fresh air.

  2. Happy Holidays Exercise
If I’ve interpreted your needs accurately you might find the ‘Happy Holidays’ exercise in Trainers’ Library is useful (www.trainerslibrary.com). It’s actually located under ‘information gathering’ in the training modules section, as opposed to selling at the moment but was originaly designed as a fun icebreaker/exercise in sales training. Hope this helps.
