I'm running a team building day for one of my clients in Glasgow and I'm looking for a venue that will spark some creative thought and imagination rather than the run of mill, sterile hotel and conference centre spaces.
The group size is about 20. It's just a day (no accommodation required) and we will need to access to space (indoors or outdoors) beyond the meeting room for experiential activities.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions.

Training space in Glasgow
The lighthouse is an award winning building which has rooms of various sizes for hire and it has lovely space throughout the building. It also has a cafe. It’s very central being located with the entrance in a lane just off Buchanan Street. Alcohol Focus Scotland, which has a very handy location in the top of Buchanan Street (near to Queen Street Station) has a training suite which has just been refurbished. They will offer very good prices for what is a very comfortable training space.
Looking for venue in Glasgow
Have you tried the Chaplaincy at Glasgow University? Or the Student Centre at Glasgow Caledonian University? RSAMD has good open spaces which you can use creatively. There’s House for an Art Lover which is in a park.
Yiou could always try phoning Glasgow City Council and get some advcie from them.

It’s quite expensive, but a very interesting building and situated in Bellahouston Park. Lots of interesting stuff there, including an artificial ski slope! Near the motorway, too, with parking.
