An evaluation method developed by Donald Kirkpatrick in the 1950s.

The four levels are defined as :

Reaction - what participants thought and felt about the training ie happy sheets

Learning - increase in knowledge and/or skills

Behavior - transfer of knowledge, skills, and/or attitudes from classroom to the job i.e. what's changed?

Results - the final results that occurred because of attendance i.e. Return On Investment
