Good training venues in Leeds

default-16x9

Hi, we're looking at other locations to hold our training courses and we're thinking of Leeds and have a general question to you all  - are there any good training venues in Leeds.

We run two day courses with up to 20 delegates, two trainers and a representative from the company, so no more than 23 in total.  The delegates we like to seat in cabaret style with the trainers and rep up front.

The trainers use an LCD projector/screen to show slides throughout the day and on day two we require access to the internet (and sound) to show a film clip.

On the food side we would expect tea/coffee/biscuits/cakes for pre-course, morning and afternoon breaks plus at our other venues we have included a buffet lunch in the venue's restaurant.

The venue needs to be easy to access as many of us will come from different parts of the country.

So, has anyone had a good experience with a Leeds venue that would cater for all of the above (and more!).

Hope you can help.

  1. Novotel

    Hi Jill

If in doubt, use the Novotel.

They are always good and the food is excellent!

    Good luck

  2. Leeds Venues

     Hi,

As mentioned before there is the Novotel Venue and also The Mansion in Roundhay, Leeds is also a great venue with full catering options available. There are many smaller venues available around Leeds City Centre but they do not offer direct catering (although options are available.). Parking and access to all venues is easy with various local hotel accommodation if required.

    Hope the above helps.

  5. What type of venue?

I have a question rather than an answer.

Are you looking for the usual corporate/hotel type venue or for somethign more wacky or ‘out there’?

  6. Great training venues in and around Leeds

I have recently attended acopule of seminars and workshops at Weetwood Hall.  This Hotel and Conference centre appeared well-equipped and I would have been more than happy with the facilities had I been delivering there.

The Northern Ballet headquarters has training rooms to let.  Its brand new and open for business in the Quarry area right next to the West Yorkshire Playhouse.  Not an obvious choice, but worth looking at.
