Hi

I started my own freelance company a few months ago ( www.tbtraining.co.uk ), offering training sessions based on my years of experience working in mental health. I also offer courses to service users on maintaining and improving mental health as well as offering more mandatory courses such as equality and diversity as this seemed to be required more often. in the last few months i have managed to secure training with big named organisations such as barnardo and sure start and the feedback has been excellent. my problem is most of my work has come from contacts i had from working in the industry and this is now running very dry, i need to expand but have little to no money for advertising. I have tried sending emails and cold calling (which i hate) but it doesn't seem to lead to anything. are there any networks i can join where trainers help each other get work or work in partnership. Does anyone have any tips on how to get bookings as i am sat here frustrated that I believe i have so much to offer but am stuck at the first hurdle, please help.

  1. Have you thought about

Have you thought about approaching healthcare companies as a partner? Especially those who provide products like insurance or occupational health to corporate customers?
