    Sally,

    I developed a Dealing With Very Difficult Customers course which covers some of this material, and found the Suzy Lamplugh Trust enormously helpful. I’m sure they’ll be able to get you started.

    I also found resources from Relate, TUC, and CIPD central library very helpful.

    Contact your local primary care health trust and ask them for the resources they use.
    The training that Accident and Emergency staff use to allow them to put up with the extreme abuse and violence they face on a regular basis should be very valuable.
