Have you used CD-roms to deliver knowledge based training?

As part of my IPD Management Report I am evaluting the outcomes of using a CD-ROM to deliver knowledge based training.

Any information on this topic would be gratefully received.

  1. Using CD Roms
I have used CD Roms to deliver knowledge based training for IT exams (Europen Computer Driving Licence) with mixed results. I have found that most students who are computer literate find them easy and fun to use, (an obivous statement) but they didn’t learn as much as the non computer users who would take take longer to go through the subjects.
