How do you raise the bar with your online training/eLearning especially when it is text-heavy and boring?

The less is more in eLearning. In one of my recent projects, the client provided 100-slide PPT as training material to create online induction and onboarding training for new hires. My focus was to exclude the irrelevant content and compel the learners to explore the content. I’ve used an interactive roadmap, videos and graphics to avoid the page turning wherever possible.
