Dear hmmtio
if I may hijack your question….I’d like to offer you a possible additional option
I’m working with an epublishing house who are looking for people to write ebooks that are sold for Kindle and Android….whilst not exactly "articles" the suggested length is 5000 to 8000 words, so they aren’t a magnum opus either.
As the author you retain copyright and are paid royalties on sales….this is not vanity publishing/self publishing: ie you do not pay for the privilege of seeing your name in "print".
