HSC/HSE publishes CD176 – Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations

HSC/HSE has published CD176 - its revised proposals for amendment to the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations, and a new supporting Approved Code of Practice.

It is based on comments received on CD159 during Summer 2000. Comments on this new proposal are requested by 19/2/02.

If approved, a consolidated Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002 is anticipated.

Asbestos remains present in many industrial and commercial buildings and continues to present risks to exposed workers. CRS can help you to identify, assess and manage these risks. We can also provide training to your staff.
