default-16x9

i have not done retail training.I have an option where i can visit the store and observe. This training will be on a pre hire level. I will have to train these people before they get hired. The other challenge is that they do not the candidate do not know how to speak English.I will also have to train on that.

  1. What type of product
    Hi Sulabh

I may be able to help but a couple of questions first. What type of product is it? Is it telephone or face to face selling?
How in-depth does the training have to be?

  2. Retail training
    Hi Sue,

thanks for your response. This is a food joint. It is more of customer service. I know that it i would have to train them on communication. However how do i structure my customer service training? I will have to train them for 2-3 weeks. I guess it has to be interactive and should have lot of games.

  3. Some exercises
    Sulabh

I’ve done a lot of work around customer service within the hospitality sector. One exercise that has worked particularly well and can form the basis of the whole programme is for your group to brainstorm what I call ‘Moments of Truth’ – all the points in the customer’s contact with the company on a single occasion that can either make or break the relationship. Once you have those key points, you can then start to look at each one in turn and what needs to be done to ensure a positive experience for the customer. This also brings in all the people the customer comes into contact with and can highlight the importance of everyone working the same way. You can also bring in what really annoys your delegates as customers and fit those into each of your main points of contact.

Email me via my profile if you would like more detail

  4. Online Retail Training Games
    Sulabh

We have created some basic retail training computer games (AKA serious games) which I think would be beneficial for your target market. If you are interested in evaluating email me seperately and I’ll setup a trial. [email protected]

    Good luck
