Ill-health dismissal

default-16x9

We occasionally have employees who are on long term sickness and are unable to (or unlikely to) return to work. Also company sick pay has been exhausted. Inevitably the manager or supervisor is anxious to replace him/her at the earliest possible time. Has anyone a checklist for manager/supervisors on how to handle these cases? Thanks for your comments.

  1. Ill health
    Jenny,
Ring me on 01228 810507 and I will let you borrow a book I have which should address most of the problems you are experiencing.

  2. Il-health dismissal
Lesley, I would also like to ring you for the name of this book.

I am particularly interested in dismissal for those with ill-health problems causing significant absence that may be disability related.

I can be contacted on [email protected].
