I’m looking for exercises in group or self empowerment?

default-16x9

The type of exercises I am looking for are things like a person sits on a chair, others put their hands on the sitting persons head and push down whilst using forms of positive empowerment, and they are then able to lift the sitting person and the chair using only their fingers at each corner of the chair.

Has anyone heard og these and do they know where I can resources for them??

  1. ACCESS NLP PRACTICAL TEXTS FOR POSITIVE EXERCISES
Bob – Thanks for the memory, I remember doing the exercise you outlined when I was at school – we used to do it in the playground, minus the stool! I don’t know where you can find similar resources, however, we run management development courses and always try to integrate positive thinking and personal empowerment with management development. We use NLP as a way of harnessing the individual’s own power to: motivate, influence, persuade. There are many NLP texts that provide practical exercises you may like/adapt for your needs. Try: ISBN 1-85788-122-2 NLP The New Technology of Achievement by Steve Andreas and Charles Faulkner is good. Sue Knight also offers a practical and accessible way of using NLP. ‘The Circle of Excellence’, ‘The Swish Pattern’ etc provide excellent activities to help move people forward – they may also be less dangerous than the exercise you mention (what if someone loses concentration and drops the chair?) Hope it helps.
