In the Moodle?

default-16x9

Hi all

Im looking at using Moodle as a VLE, probably on a trial basis to begin with and would like to hear any anecdotes, stories or comments (good or bad) from folks who have used, deployed, developed or had any involvement with it.

Im planning to use it to supplement exisiting, classroom courses and activities for a department of around 60 staff.

Does Moodle work for you?

Thanks

Andy

  1. Invalid log Ins
I am using Moodle as the VLE at Park Lane College. I find it useful and in my view there is great scope to develop this further.
The only problem I find is that the student log ins are lionked to their college log ins and if your college password expires during a holiday period, Moodle becomes unaccessible. It has happened to me twice now and is really frustrating and defeats the objective of having a VLE.

So in short just make sure it is accessible when it is supposed to be! Hope that is of use.
