Induction Policy and Procedure

default-16x9

I am working towards my CIPD and am in the process of working on my management report on Induction.

I would like to compare my findings with Induction policy and procedures in other organisations (Especially those who work with different shift patterns) and if you are able to provide me with anything at all relating to this it would be appreciated.

Thanks
Kaytie

  1. Induction for those working shifts
Hi Kaytie, we have just recently reviewed our induction processes due to having a number of different work patterns which include staff working permanent nights and those working a rotating pattern which includes night work. As you can imagine this has created quite a headache for delivery of induction and so we decided to push much of the responsibility onto managers and shift buddies who will always be working the same shift as the individual and can guide them through the induction process. Feel free to email me directly at [email protected] so I can give you more details on what we do here.
