Induction training

default-16x9

Hi,

I have just completed a TNA for my student placement employers who operate in the facilities managment / catering sector and have identified induction as a key development area. If anyone has any experience of setting up or delivering induction training (especially if it is within the same sector!) or any advice that might help please email me at 9803645@rgu.ac.uk.

Many thanks,

Keith

I have put an article I had published in Training Journal a couple of years ago in the post to you.

  2. Inductions
    Hi Keith,

In the last year I have written inductions for the NHS, Siemens and am currently working on my current employers course.

I go for interaction in a big way and have many ideas which get people excited and interested so that they remember a few key things which is all you can ask.

In one induction role-playing exercise a person had to ride a motor bike made from a folded sheet of flip paper around the room shouting courier for Doctor Jones!

Six weeks later the group who attended this session could all remember, when tested every key message from this session.

Please send me e-mail off line and will ping some over or help you work some up.

    Cheers.

    Nick
