Induction training for Board members

default-16x9

Hi there,

I'm looking for a training company to provide an induction session for new board members. This is likely to be their first board appointment. My organisation is an NDPB - Non Departmental Public Body - and as such guidelines exist around the roles and responsibilities of board members so familarity with these would be an advantage.

Thanks,
Tom Harlow

  1. Induction

As with any induction procedure you need to decide what information the individual needs to know and how they are going to be given this eg through meetings colleagues, with documentation, presentation, tours of buildings etc.

The induction should be varied, provided through different means and phased over a period of time so the information can be gradually absorbed about the company. They will then become effective as quickly as possible which is the main aim of induction.

  2. Role specific inductions
    Tom,

Role specific inductions I find work best. These can be created to the specific person.

I have created many of these for eaither board members or heads of departments.

Please feel free to contact me direct (neil@tran2develop.com) if I can be of any further help.
