Influencing in Writing

default-16x9

I'm looking for ideas for inflencing skills training that is aimed specifically at someone who has to develop their written influencing skills. The person is fine with influencing through verbal communication channels but not so good at influencing in written form. Any ideas or suggestions out there?

  1. On influencing with words
    Dear writer,
It sounds as though your person needs some training and practice in “persuasive” writing techniques. There are several good books on the subject(check you local bookstore or Amazon.com). Many people have a hard time expressing themselves in writing. Although a good book and/or training program can help one learn the mechanics of writing, only practice will aid in the development of creating effective persuasive documents. Denpending on the individual’s learning curve, I suggests a good handbook and perhaps a course in “business writing” at your local college, university, or tech school. I hope this helps.

  2. Thinking Styles
If you can get hold of Fiona Beddoes-Jones book on Thinking Styles I am sure that you will find the information in this really useful and very relevant to persuasive writing skills.

I have some NLP material on a similar area that you might find useful if you want to e-mail me directly.

    Regards,

    Megan
