The Department for Trade and Industry has been conducting a study entitled 'Partnerships with People' with the aim of helping organisations to bring out the best in their staff so as to achieve significantly enhanced business performance.

Based on research with a wide range of organisations, "the common theme evident was that the most powerful resource for change, improved performance and competitive advantage is the people who already work for the organisation." (Ed: Surprise, surprise - I wonder how much that research finding cost!?

Partnerships with People illustrates the way in which successful management styles can be developed to ensure that everyone is able to contribute to the aims and objectives of their organisations.

These are all useful resources which can be used directly by managers, coaches and trainers seeking to create a more constructive climate in the workplace though collaboration with staff.
