The Institute of IT Training (IITT) has announced the launch of a new award to celebrate the most effective implementation of the latest developments in learning technology and techniques in the IT training industry.

The Innovation in Training Services Award is open to any organisation that can demonstrate that they have made a unique and innovative contribution to the delivery of learning services.

The Judges will be specifically looking for new or substantially novel ways of engaging learners, stimulating the creation and sharing of knowledge and accelerating organisational learning. To be successful an organisation must clearly show how they have helped to create an environment which fosters learning in the workplace.

Edmund Monk, business development director at IITT, said: “We believe this new award could attract unprecedented interest and we are excited about the new innovations that will be highlighted through the entries we receive.”

The award, sponsored by itSMF, will be one of 13 presented at the 2009 ceremony, which takes place in February at the Dorchester, London.

Details about the awards and how to enter can be found here.
